Field Experience Description

I have been involved in Chrisian life Coaching with It's Not Over LLC since October of 2024. I have participated as a coach with weekly Q&A sessions, (up to 3 a week) 1+hrs each session. I also have been coaching my own client for both hire and pro bono for those having marital problems. In addition, I have been doing group sessions with the Baptist Student Ministries men's group, taking the men through the 7 Maturities of a Godly Man study (My own developed subject) during this Spring semester, which incorporates foundational principles of how a man sees God, himself in God, and then himself among others in the world, thus making his relationships fruitful, by himself being a Christ focused man. I found that employing the classes taught by ICCI, I have been able to develop my curriculum for this class and then present it to others.

Spiritual Orientation and Practice

Spiritual Orientation and Practice

Instructions

Please define/describe your thoughts and beliefs on the following questions.

Who is Jesus Christ to you?

My Savior! Before Abraham was. From the foundation of the World. If our message isn't focused on our representation of him, we are out of calibration.

How does a person become Christian?

The Holy Spirit must open someone's eyes to their own broken condition. They need to know that there is a savior. In knowing, about him and then trusting in his physical blood sacrifice for our sins, (past, present, and future) and not of their own works (extra credit, makeup work mentality) they are saved from the pit they are in, and the judgement that they were reserved for.

Describe your beliefs about the Bible:

It is essential for our foundation in knowing the Father, and his plan for us. Without it we are wandering in a dense forest of darkness making our own way to a place we don't know, hoping to find something that we know nothing about, in directions that only seem easier for each passing moment. "LOST".

Describe your beliefs about the Holy Spirit:

The Holy Spirit goes ahead of us to speak to a lost or hurting person and prepare him or her ahead of the audible voice that The Father needs for us to be to that person. The Holy Spirit also prompts us in ways that we can minister to that person. The Holy Spirit is Gods gentle voice and presence in a lost and dying world calling Adam Back to Him.

Briefly describe your personal faith testimony, your spiritual journey, and current walk with Christ:

I am a broken Jar of Clay mended and transformed into something useful and presentable. I was saved as a young boy. I grew up in a strong Christian home. I became a very on fire Christian through my youth group in high school where I rededicated my life to Christ. I was married at 20 years old, (now a victim divorce), a father of 9 children. I know the hurt that that life brings. I understand the feeling that "This was not supposed to happen to me." I know how The Father uses the hard times to get our attention, to call us from the mundane and routine, to further purify us, to renew our minds, to keep cleansing us from all unrighteousness, and to put us on new paths. As I turned 50 it became apparent that things were about to change through pain but for the better. I am excited to help other men, (and women) to see the value in self-reexamination, to judge ourselves lest we be judged by others, and to change.

Describe your Life Coaching practice/ministry and how you incorporate biblical principles, as well as spiritual practices and disciplines in your coaching activities (e.g., prayer, the use of Scripture, meditation, worship, solitude, etc.)

I am an avid hiker. I love to hit the trails and walk. Mostly I love to be by myself and to pray. For me in Christian coaching I want to take men on a journey, just like hiking, that may have lots of twists and turns, ups and downs, stony ground or smooth ground but to understand that to get to the top you just got to walk it. I can't walk it for you, but I would love to walk some of it with you. My hope and prayer is that along the way I eventually disappear, and they find that it was Jesus walking next to them the whole way.

I was charge with "Child Endangerment". Charges were dropped due to lack of evidence of willful intent to harm or bring danger to a child. Nothing came of it.
