Instructions | Please define/describe your thoughts and beliefs on the following questions. |
Who is Jesus Christ to you? | Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior—both the anchor of my soul and the center of my calling. He is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, who came to reconcile us to the Father through His life, death, and resurrection. Personally, He is my daily source of strength, wisdom, and grace. As a chaplain and coach, I follow His example of compassion, presence, and truth, striving to reflect His love in every interaction. Jesus is not only the reason I serve, but the One who empowers me to serve with humility, courage, and hope. |
How does a person become Christian? | Becoming a Christian begins with recognizing our need for a Savior and responding to the love and grace of God through Jesus Christ. It’s not about religion or rules—it’s about relationship. A person becomes a Christian by placing their faith in Jesus: believing that He is the Son of God who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again to offer us new life. It starts with a sincere heart—a moment of repentance and turning toward God. Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” It is through this confession and belief that we are spiritually reborn. For me, becoming a Christian was a personal surrender—an acknowledgment that I could not lead my life on my own. It was an invitation for Jesus to enter in, restore what was broken, and lead me in truth. That decision changed everything. It redefined my identity, my purpose, and how I walk with others through coaching and chaplaincy. Salvation is a gift, freely given by grace through faith. But like any gift, it must be received. And when it is, it transforms not just a moment—but a life. |
Describe your beliefs about the Bible: | I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God—alive, trustworthy, and foundational to my faith. It reveals who God is, guides how we live, and offers hope, correction, and truth. For me, the Bible is deeply personal. I turn to it for wisdom, direction, and encouragement in both my life and ministry. It shapes how I coach, care, and walk with others. |
Describe your beliefs about the Holy Spirit: | I believe the Holy Spirit is the very presence of God living within us—our Comforter, Counselor, and Guide. The Holy Spirit helps me discern truth, convicts me when I drift, strengthens me when I’m weak, and empowers me to serve with grace and wisdom. In my own life, I’ve experienced the gentle nudges, the peace in chaos, and the clarity that only the Holy Spirit can bring. Whether I’m ministering as a chaplain, coaching someone through a hard place, or simply trying to make a daily decision, I rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance, strength, and discernment. He’s not distant or abstract—He is near, active, and always working to shape me more into the image of Christ. |
Briefly describe your personal faith testimony, your spiritual journey, and current walk with Christ: | My faith journey began with knowing about God, but over time, I came to know Jesus as my personal Savior, Shepherd, and Friend. Through seasons of growth, struggle, and surrender, I’ve experienced His faithfulness in real and life-changing ways. One of the most transformative parts of my journey has been serving in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)—first as a student, and now as a supervisor educator. It’s in those sacred spaces—hospitals, churches, and coaching rooms—that I’ve seen God work through both my strengths and my limitations. Walking with Christ for me is daily. It’s about listening for His voice in prayer, leaning into His Word, and allowing His Spirit to guide how I show up for others. He continues to stretch me, speak to me, and shape how I serve. My coaching and chaplaincy are not just ministries—they are extensions of my walk with Him. I’m learning to rest in His grace and follow where He leads, one step at a time. |
Describe your Life Coaching practice/ministry and how you incorporate biblical principles, as well as spiritual practices and disciplines in your coaching activities (e.g., prayer, the use of Scripture, meditation, worship, solitude, etc.) | My life coaching ministry is deeply rooted in my relationship with Christ and shaped by my work as a chaplain and supervisor. I coach individuals—many of them in ministry or leadership—who are seeking clarity, direction, and spiritual growth. I begin each session with prayer, either silent or invited, depending on the comfort and openness of the person I’m coaching. This helps center our time and reminds us that God is present in the process. I often incorporate Scripture, reflective journaling, spiritual assessments, and questions that invite the client to listen for what God might be saying. Sometimes I suggest practices like solitude, Sabbath rhythms, or breath prayers to help reconnect with peace and purpose. My coaching is biblically integrated, but it’s never forceful—it’s about walking alongside someone and helping them align their life with God’s truth and grace. Ultimately, I view coaching as a sacred space. I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and trust the Holy Spirit to guide the conversation toward healing, insight, and transformation. |
