Field Experience Description | I have been coaching mothers with turbulent relationships with their adult daughters directly with structure since April of 2023 (actually before I just did not know that's what it was). I have done this by way of structured 1:1 zoom and group coaching calls, bible studies in my home, monthly mother Q&A coaching calls and the very first Mothers Healing & Forgiveness Brunch in August 2024 that was also given to me by way of the Lord waking me up out of my sleep with the vision for 100 mothers with adult daughters. I have always used the Word of God as the foundation for the coaching I have done. I actually have many hours of coaching that I have completed with mothers. However, I did not start logging hours until after the Lord placed in my spirit to become certified. I did not even realize there was actually a certification I could obtain as a Christian Life Coach until God gave it to me, then I began to look and God open each door. Timeframe: April 2023 - Current |

Instructions | Please define/describe your thoughts and beliefs on the following questions. |
Who is Jesus Christ to you? | Jesus Christ is more than someone I pray to and read the Word to find His identity. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior in every sense. He has been with me for a very long time. As a child I went through being sexually violated and then as a teenager raped. I can still remember the presence of the Lord in my life when I was 12 years old, I knew within me that I desired Him to lead me in spite of the circumstances. I now know that was the Holy Spirit guiding me. So when you ask "Who is Jesus Christ to you"... He is the Savior of my life because he literally saved me from the things the enemy thought he could use to bound me. But God has proven throughout the years that He has a plan and purpose for my life and no matter what happens He always shows Himself to me by way of His presence. I'm grateful that He chose me and I'm honored to do what He has called me to do. |
How does a person become Christian? | Accepting Jesus as the Son of God (receiving Him as our Savior), repenting of our sins, baptism of the water as an act of surrender before man. Many scriptures demonstrate the prayer of salivation but the one often used is Romans 10:9. How I became a Christian is when I genuinely went before the Lord at the age of 12 and I asked God to save me and show me Him. I learned that Jesus was His Son that was actually God coming in flesh through the teaching and my studying the word for myself. So when I think of someone becoming a Christian I believe it starts with the decision within them first to believe God is God and then receiving Jesus as their Lord and savior which will then lead to repentance and so much more on the journey of learning the character of God. |
Describe your beliefs about the Bible: | I believe 100% that the Word of God is true without error and provided for teaching and correction. I believe that it teaches us the character of God, His promises for us with instructions on how to receive His promises. I believe that Gods Word provides the discipline that comes in our deliberate disobedience and it also shows His unwavering Love for us in every area of who we are. Simply put... I believe the Word of God in it's entirety unapologetically! |
Describe your beliefs about the Holy Spirit: | That it's the 3rd person within the trinity (God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit). I believe that the Holy spirit was left for us and I KNOW that it lives on the inside of us. It's speaks clearly to us when we are present and open to what God is showing us. The Holy Spirit can and will direct our way when we are truly surrendered to what God has for us and not our own way. |
Briefly describe your personal faith testimony, your spiritual journey, and current walk with Christ: | My faith journey has been one that has been tried at every angle to put it lightly. Through sexual attacks on my body, raising my daughter as a single mother with a foundation in God and she grows up to dislike me, my church home of almost 2 decades our pastor took a new assignment to shepherd a new church family which was painful also due in part to the pastor that was left to pastor (I followed my pastor there but have not joined yet), major life challenges, praying over things that I relied on the promises of God and they did not happen as I thought it should from my study of the Word, seeing my mother go through the challenge of facing cancer, marriage troubles and all of this and so much more all while serving God fully. Yet no matter what came I called upon the Lord knowing that His Word will never return to Him void, He is more than the enemy is against me, He will fight my battles, and no weapon formed against me will prosper which I believe and God has proven it. My current walk with Christ is one that my eyes could not have seen as a 12 year old girl. It is one that is faithful to God. It does not come without its struggles in my mind sometimes, when I have to ask God "why" so much happens on the journey. But what I'm grateful for is through it all I have NEVER once stop knowing that He is God and my desire to serve Him has never left. I honor to God for His presence in my life! |
Describe your Life Coaching practice/ministry and how you incorporate biblical principles, as well as spiritual practices and disciplines in your coaching activities (e.g., prayer, the use of Scripture, meditation, worship, solitude, etc.) | My Life Coaching ministry specializes in coaching women, mothers uniquely in turbulent relationships with their adult daughters. The Word of God is the foundation of my coaching. Scripture is provided as a basis to show what the Bible has to say about the circumstance, goal and feelings one may be having. Understanding how biblical principals will guide us on the correct path. One of the practices that I have within my coaching is after each coaching session, I email the client with 1 - 3 scriptures that speaks directly to the coaching session that day. Which serves as a reminder that Gods Word has directive for every area of our lives. We pray before and after each every session. It's a discipline that must stay. I remember in 2023 when I heard like an audible voice from the Holy Spirit "no matter what never remove Me". I remember thinking "God I would not, but I will be sure to be mindful not to". So I keep God in the front no matter what, rom email signatures, website, coaching calls, electronic communications but most of all my behavior. I can say that I know now why God whispered that in my hearing and I'm so glad that I listened. He really does warn us if we are willing to hear. |
