Instructions

Please define/describe your thoughts and beliefs on the following questions.

Who is Jesus Christ to you?

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and my redeemer. In 1995, He delivered me from sin and gave me new life. He wants me to constantly and consistently abide in Him. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

He gave His life for me. I owe everything to Him. His life, death and resurrection has given me New Life.

I love the Lord.

How does a person become Christian?

A person becomes a Christian by humbling themselves and realizing that they are a sinner. That person decides to accept the scriptures of what Jesus has done for us on the cross and his resurrection. Once the person decides to repent, and turn from their sinful ways, they have opportunity to ask the Lord to come into their hearts to save them. They believe on the Lord Jesus and and receive Him into their life, and are given the privilege to become children of God.John 1:12.

Describe your beliefs about the Bible:

The Bible is the inerrant word of God. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Mathew 4:4 Jesus answered, "It is written:'Man shall not live o bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Describe your beliefs about the Holy Spirit:

God ,The Holy Spirit is the third person of the God-Head who is fully God. He is co-equal with the God the Father and God the Son. The Holy Spirit lives within me, equipping me to do the things he calls me to do. He empowers me by Him working through me to reach the lives of others. The Holy Spirit gives the gifts of the Spirit. He is my Helper and my strength.

Briefly describe your personal faith testimony, your spiritual journey, and current walk with Christ:

I gave my life to Jesus, after I attended a Catholic church service, where I learned that the abortion that I had had in 1989, was murder. The Priest said if you've committed this sin you are no longer a Catholic. I look back now and see that as prophetic phrase, as a confirmation, that I was to become a born again believer and no longer be a catholic. In 1995, my husband and I went to Baptist church and I realized that I needed to change and I needed forgiveness. The gospel message was preached and I realized that I was a sinner. I repented and asked Jesus into my heart. My husband did as well. We joined the church and we were lead to begin a Bible Study workbook, called The Abundant Life. It took us through the book of Matthew. We learned to read the Bible, joined the choir and fellowshipped with the church on a regular basis. We went on to learn more about the Lord, through the course Experiencing God. As God led us, we came across a financial Bible study, Christian Financial Concepts by Larry Burkett. Since it helped us to get out of debt, by understanding God's principles in the area of money, we wanted to help others and we began to facilitate a group every year, from 2004- until now. We also learned that we enjoy helping others learn what God says about marriage. We've been married 32 years now and we love facilitating Kingdom Marriage and other marriage books. Currently, we are now learning more about prayer and fasting. I've felt the Lord leading me to learn more about coaching others, through many of the experiences, we have had in parenting, homeschooling, marriage, finances and more. So as God led me to ICCI through an email invitation, I felt it was a perfect fit for me. As I sought to add a Specialization to my CACLC, I found that Transformed Living with Rolfe and Lea Carawan, matched the ministries, we were already doing and I wanted to have more information and discovered their ministry is a way to take women, couples, and others deeper in their relationship with the Lord and each other. I am so excited to be applying for the CPCLC to solidify all that I've learned through ICCI, which has been a literal God-send to me.

Describe your Life Coaching practice/ministry and how you incorporate biblical principles, as well as spiritual practices and disciplines in your coaching activities (e.g., prayer, the use of Scripture, meditation, worship, solitude, etc.)

I believe everything centers around the Scriptures and our core beliefs. The coaching that I've had opportunity to do, begins with and ends with prayer. I lead the clients to the Biblical principles in the area of their need. Many times they learn to memorize scriptures. I've learned through Transformed Living that everything hinges upon a person's beliefs. For what they believe to be true, they do. So I start with coaching them through the foundational principles of God's word, then offer them helpful instructions from the word and sometimes my experiences, and ask them to share with me what they feel the Lord is saying to them, based on what they know and believe. I then ask what do they believe the Lord is giving them as a personal conviction. My job is the EASE model which is to engage the client where they are, make sure that they have an accountability partner, make sure they have the support they need and encourage them,
