Instructions | Please define/describe your thoughts and beliefs on the following questions. |
Who is Jesus Christ to you? | He is my Lord and Savior. He is the one and only Son of God sent to Earth by his Father, to die on the cross as a sacrifice to cover our sin. Jesus sealed our salvation through His resurrection 3 days later. While on Earth, He taught us about life and Kingdom providing instruction for us to live an abundant life. |
How does a person become Christian? | Scripture tells us that the gift of salvation is available to all and it is in fact the will of God that none die apart from this saving knowledge and all receive eternal life. Salvation is secured through the death and resurrection of Jesus. We receive this gift by faith through accepting and believing that Jesus is who He claims and did die and pay the price for our sins. "If we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that Jesus Christ is Lord we will be saved." |
Describe your beliefs about the Bible: | The Bible is the Word of God. It is a guide of living and valuable for instruction, correction and training us to live a godly life. It is truth and without error. |
Describe your beliefs about the Holy Spirit: | The Holy Spirit is one of the three parts of whole of God. He is giving to believers to help them live a righteous life. He is the power that allows and secures the gifts that we all have as believers. The Holy Spirit also serves as link of communication between the Lord and us aiding us in remembering the word of God. The Holy Spirit is a comforter for us as we walk out this journey of Faith. |
Briefly describe your personal faith testimony, your spiritual journey, and current walk with Christ: | As a child, I was brought up in a Christian family, faith-based home. I accepted Christ as my personal Lord and Savior at 8 years of age. I continued to grow and develop that understanding. My faith in Christ remained as I ebbed and flowed with my walk and obedience. As a late teen, I accepted a call into full time Christian ministry. I have served as youth, education and activities minister in my early journey, all these helped shape my journey of faith. My journey has been marked with failures and successes and through it all God has been faithful to me to restore me and continue to allow me to be used to serve His Kingdome. |
Describe your Life Coaching practice/ministry and how you incorporate biblical principles, as well as spiritual practices and disciplines in your coaching activities (e.g., prayer, the use of Scripture, meditation, worship, solitude, etc.) | I try to allow the truth of scripture to guide all of my talks and coaching sessions. I pray with clients in my groups, couples' and individual, praying for our session of stopping and praying for issues and needs at the moment they come up. Meditation, worship and solitude may be mentioned as positive spiritual activities, I have not used them directly in my coaching sessions. I due however, use these are elements I use in my own spiritual journey to be prepared and hearing the voice of God while seeking to help my clients. My goal is always to help my clients know that "truth" is not in me but rather found and supported in the Truth of God and His word. |
