In partnership with Deeper Walk International, this hybrid 16-hour ICCI course bridges the gap between heart-focused prayer ministry and professional life coaching. The dual program equips graduates from Deeper Walk’s Prayer Ministry Certification training with essential coaching competencies, assessment tools, and strategic frameworks to move beyond remedial support into growth-focused coaching. If you are interested in this dual-certification program as a Prayer Ministry Coach, simply follow these steps:

  • Step 2 – Enroll in and complete the Deeper Walk International Prayer Ministry Certification training (through their ministry organization). All required mentoring sessions for ICCI credentialling purposes, as well as the necessary field experience hours, are included in this training.
  • Step 3 – Enroll in and complete this ICCI hybrid 16-hour Prayer Ministry Coaching Course. If you have already completed ICCI’s three Foundations of Coaching courses, you will not need to take the hybrid course and may contact [email protected] on how to proceed.
  • Step 4 – Complete the ICCI Credentialing Application for the Certified Professional Christian Life Coach credential (CPCLC).

Georgia Shaffer, PCC, MCLC, CPLC, MA, is the Founder and Executive Director of Mourning Glory Ministries, a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania, and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation. Dr. Eric Scalise

Eric Scalise, Ph.D, LPC, LMFT, currently serves as President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) with Hope for the Heart. He is also the President of LIV Consulting, LLC, the former Senior Vice President for the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and former Department Chair for Counseling Programs at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. Dr. Scalise is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 42 years of clinical and professional experience in the mental health, higher education, and organizational consulting fields, as well as having served six years on the Virginia Board of Counseling under two governors. Specialty areas include professional/pastoral stress and burnout, combat trauma and PTSD, marriage and family issues, grief and loss, addictions and recovery, leadership development, and lay counselor training. He is a published author (Addictions and Recovery Counseling and Lay Counseling: Equipping Christians for a Helping Ministry), adjunct professor at several Christian universities, conference speaker, and frequently works with organizations, clinicians, ministry leaders, and churches on a variety of issues. As the son of a diplomat, Dr. Scalise was born in Nicosia, Cyprus, and has also lived and traveled extensively around the world.
