Tim Smith
Tim Smith, MA, has over 35 years of experience with nonprofit organizations in administration, management, leadership, and fund development. He has also served as a Development Officer in nonprofit organizations and Executive Pastor for two megachurches. Tim recently served as Chief Development Officer for the Museum of the Bible and is the Founder and President of NonProfit DNA, a development and consulting agency. Together with his daughter, Christie Meldrim, Tim is the Founder of Blended, Not Broken, a ministry organization providing resources for blended families. He is married to Olivia and they share a total of six children. Christie Meldrim
Christie Meldrim, MA, has been in church ministry for 15 years and currently works as the Guest Services Director at West Ridge Church in Dallas, Georgia. Most recently, Christie served as the Creative Arts Project Manager at West Ridge where she managed all communications, media, and production requests for the church. She received a degree in Student Ministry from Colorado Christian University. She currently lives in Dallas, Georgia, with her husband Mark and is stepmom to Alexis, Dillon, Libbie, and Leeann. Michelle Nietert
Michelle Nietert, MA, Michelle is the Founder and Owner of Community Counseling Associates in Allen, Texas and has supervised and trained numerous counselors since 2005. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and is a sought after leader in the area of solution focused counseling for both consultation and training. Michelle has been retained by liability insurance companies, as well as local and national law firms as a recognized expert in the area of mental health treatment and documentation. She has in-depth play therapy training, is a previous district crisis counselor with Safe and Drug Free Schools, and has worked extensively with suburban families dealing with drug exploration, dependence, abuse, and addiction. Dr. Eric Scalise
Eric Scalise, PhD, is the President of LIV Consulting, LLC. He currently serves as President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) with Hope for the Heart. He is also the former Senior Vice President for the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and former Department Chair for Counseling Programs at Regent University. Dr. Scalise is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with 40 years of clinical and professional experience in the mental health field, and he served six years on the Virginia Board of Counseling under two governors. Specialty areas include professional/pastoral stress and burnout, combat trauma and PTSD, marriage and family issues, grief and loss, addictions and recovery, leadership development, and lay counselor training. He is a published author, adjunct professor at several Christian universities, conference speaker, and frequently works with organizations, clinicians, ministry leaders, and churches on a variety of issues.
