Maj. Katherine Tharp, MD

Maj. Katherine A. Tharp served as a US Air Force Psychiatrist and Medical Director for mental health while stationed at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV. She has received numerous awards throughout her medical education and career, including the Demonstrating Humanism in Medicine and Excellence in Psychiatry. Dr. Tharp was honored by her peers for demonstrating personal strength, determination, and courage in overcoming significant adversity while pursuing her dream of becoming a physician.
Throughout residency, she consistently performed in the top 1% of all psychiatry residents nationally on annual in-training exams.
